The opening of the exhibition “Vaska Emanuilova: Mountain landscapes of the childhood” took place on 2 February in the artistic heart of the capital on 6 Shipka Street.

The exhibition showed watercolour paintings from the collection of Auction House Enakor, revealing one less known and rarely shown side of the famous Bulgarian sculptor. The collection includes 34 marvelous landscape paintings where her birthplace – the village of Komshtitza, comes to live. Discover the full collection here.

On the 9 February, a day before the closing of the exhibition, the first publication from the new “Enakor Studies” printed series – the study by Rossitsa Gicheva-Meimari, PhD on Vaska Emanuilova and the collection part of the exhibition was presented.
