Following a successful first edition in Sofia and the first exhibition in Istanbul, held at the historic St. Stephen Church (the Iron Church), the Sofia–Istanbul: Bridge of Art project continues with its second chapter in Istanbul.
On 31 July at 18:00, we invite you to the official opening at İstiklal Art Gallery in the Beyoğlu district, where artworks by artists of Turkish origin connected to Bulgaria will be presented.
The exhibition explores art as a bridge between cultures, memory and identity. It brings together artists whose works tell stories of the shared cultural heritage of Bulgaria and Turkey, demonstrating how art creates dialogue beyond borders, languages and generations.
The project is an initiative of Julia Varbanova, co-founder of Enakor Auction House, with the mission of fostering long-term cultural collaboration between Bulgaria and Turkey. The project is realised with the support of the Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA) and the Sofia districts of Oborishte and Sredets.
