ENAKOR AUCTION HOUSE TO CELEBRATE ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A MAJOR AUCTION OF BULGARIAN ART

On 8 October 2026, Enakor Auction House will mark its 50th anniversary with a special auction presenting a rich selection of Bulgarian contemporary art.

One of the highlights of the auction is an extensive collection of Bulgarian naïve art, featuring nearly 180 works by more than 50 artists. The catalogue brings together works by Rosen Rashev – Roshpaka, Todor Marinov, Dimitar Kostadinov – Duke, Dimitar Vetsin, and many other established artists. Their distinctive artistic language is characterised by vivid colour, sincerity and an unmistakable sense of individuality.

A special section of the catalogue is devoted to contemporary Christian art, featuring original icons by Anita and Georgi Nenchevi, Mila Musakova, Yulia Stankova, Plamen Kondov, and other accomplished artists. Their works unite the spiritual traditions and symbolism of Orthodox iconography with a contemporary artistic vision and highly personal forms of expression.

The 50th Anniversary Auction will take place on 8 October 2026 at 17:00 at the Enakor Auction House Gallery, 30 Ivan Denkoglu Street, Sofia, and will be broadcast live at enakor.com.

You can participate in the auction in person, online, by telephone, or by submitting a written bid.

Written bids and requests for telephone bidding will be accepted until 16:00 on 8 October 2026.
